Aged 60, Late of Risk Road, Fitts Village, St. James. Nursing Assistant 1 of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Volunteer of the Barbados Defence Force Emergency Medical Team entered into rest on Tuesday June 9, 2026.
Son of the late Gweneth “Betty” Greenidge and Grenville Skeete.
Companion of Ereyne Brathwaite.
Father of Dylan Brathwaite.
Brother of Ron Prescod, Shirla Reid, Michael Elcock, Carolyn Greenidge, Rose Patterson, Delories Greaves, Floyd Patterson and Robert Patterson
Nephew of Doreen and Maclarand Greenidge, Beulah Garnes, Colin Taylor, Hollis Webb, Robert Fredrick, Elbert and Simeon Ellis.
Cousin of many.
Relative of the Greenidge, Skeete, Frederick, Brathwaite and Ellis families.
Friend of Linda Caddle, Mr. John Gill, Dr. Shawn Smith, Carolann Thompson-Gaskin, Colin Griffith and many others.
The funeral service celebrating the life of Stephen Carlos Devere Greenidge takes place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the First Baptist Church, Constitution Rd. St. Michael, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 am.
The cortege will proceed to Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge, Christ Church for the interment.
The body will be reposed for viewing in The Michael Bryan Memorial Chapel Belmont Road St. Michael on Friday June 26th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
The cortege will reach the Church at 8:45 am on Saturday, June 27, 2026 from which time floral tributes will be appreciated, please note that there will be no viewing of the body at that time.
Tributes will commence at 9:30am.
