Daughter of the late Wilbert and Montene Blackman nee Smith.
Mother of Marguerita Smith (Retired Teacher Welches Primary School), Catherine Blackman (Retired Transport Board), Wendy Mayers (Retired Barbados Water Authority).
Grandmother of Glenroy Blackman (FedEx), Natalie Smith- Scantlebury (Teacher of the Alexander School), Ryan Smith (Bahamas).
Great Grandmother of Kimberley, Gianna and Erica Blacman, Z’Dana and Z’Dari Scantlebury.
Sister of Vela Harvey.
Aunt of Rivan Blackman-Kellman, Vermont, Trevor, Silvia, Malcolm, Winston, Juliette, Eleanor, Rodney and Antonio Blackman. Iradelle Alleyne, Richard and John Burnett, Lucine Adams, Hariette Holder, Maxine and Mylene Selman and many others.

The funeral service celebrating the life of the late Ansey Irvina Blackman takes place on Tuesday December 23, 2025 at the St. Silas Church, Water Hall, St. James. Relatives and Friends are asked to meet at 2:00 pm for the service.
The cortege will proceed to Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens Pleasant Hall, St. Peter, for the interment. The body will repose in The Michael Bryan Memorial Chapel Belmont Road St. Michael on Monday December 22nd from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm and at the church on Tuesday, 12:45 pm from which time floral tributes will be appreciated. The organist and choir are asked to attend.
