Son of the late Sydney Foster (choir master), and Mildred Mavis Foster nee Devonish.
Husband of Lorette Clarke.
Former husband of the late Sylvia Sealy Foster, formerly of Cane Garden St Andrew
Father of Neville ‘Rope’ Foster, Cheryl (USA), Terry, Junior, Marvin ‘DJ Hardes’ Foster, Carlos and Aaron Foster and the late Jacqueline Boyce (formerly of NCC).
Grandfather of Stefan Boyce, Jade Beckles, Destiny Corbin, Tarille, Hope and Kayley Foster, Tyrell, Tosh Mayers.
Great grandfather of three.
Brother of Winfield ‘Halley’ Foster (UK) and Burton ‘Erton’ Foster and the late Winston ‘Englishman’ Foster (formerly of UK), Neville Foster, and England “Dabin’ Foster.

The funeral service celebrating the life of the late Basil Roland Foster take place on Wednesday February 25, 2026, at the St. Saviour’s Anglican Church, Baxters, St. Andrew where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:30 pm for the service followed by the interment in the church cemetery at Cane Garden, St. Andrew. The body will repose in The Michael Bryan Memorial Chapel Belmont Road St. Michael on Tuesday February 24th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm and at the church at 1:15 pm, from which time floral arrangements will be appreciated.
The organist and choir are asked to attend.
No mourning colours, bright colours and bright hats are preferred, by special request.
