Aged 91 of #3 Reece Road, Brittons Hill, St. Michael formerly of St. Vincent entered peacefully into rest on Sunday June 15, 2025.
Daughter of the late Nathaniel and Letha Brown.
Wife of the late Allen King.
Mother of Desmond and Patricia King, Ava King- Byrne and Jennifer Bartlett.
Grandmother of Dawn, Chanel, Keisha, Andre, Kristen, Alexandria and Deborah.
Great-grandmother of eight.
Sister of Vanley Browne, Margaret John (USA), Eardley Browne and Gideon Browne (St. Vincent), and the late Almida Browne, Greta Edwards and Garfield Browne.
Aunt of Gale, Leslie, Oswald, Solita and many others.
Mother-in-law of McAllister Bartlett, Ruth King and James Byrne.
Sister-in-law of Yolanda, Reynold and Simeon King.
Cousin of David Alexander and Anesta.
Friend of Mr. Marshall, the Badenock family, Sister Alder, Doris, Holford and many others, Caretakers Marcia and Denese.
The funeral service celebrating the life of the late Doris Octavia King takes place on Saturday, July 5th at the Brittons Hill Wesleyan Holiness Church, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 am. The cortege will proceed to the Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens the Ridge Christ Church for the interment.
The body will repose in the Michael Bryan Memorial Chapel Belmont Road St. Michael on Friday from 4: 00 pm to 6:00 pm. and at the church on Saturday, 8:45 am from which time floral tributes will be appreciated.
The family prefers the wearing of mourning colours.
