Aged 87, late of Diamond Valley, St. Philip, formerly of Fitts Village, St. James and London, England. Retired Nurse, School Governor, and Women’s Health Advisor, entered into rest on Saturday, 26th July 2025.
Daughter of the late Carl Urbane and Dorcas Francis of Hillaby, St. Andrew.
Beloved wife of the late Norman Gay.
Mother of Monica McMillan (UK) and the late Annette Tulloch.
Grandmother of Angelina Tulloch (Luxembourg) and Alexander McMillan (UK).
Mother-in-law of Lindsay Tulloch (Luxembourg) and Cedric McMillan (UK).
Sister of Horace and Ronald Francis (Canada), the late Dr. Henry Francis, David, Noel, Pastor R. Danforth Francis, Dr. Joan Francis, Jacqueline Maycock, and Norma Worrell.
Sister-in-law of Roosevelt Gay, Elden Clarke, the late Robert Maycock, Euklyn Worrell, Mary, Marjorie, Jennifer, Nellie, Aury, and Verna Francis.
Aunt to José-Manuel Gay, Dr. Akilah Belle and twenty- four others.
Cousin of Stellene, Julie, and Alan Clarke and many others.

The funeral service, celebrating the life of the late Elna Gay née Francis takes place on Monday August 18, 2025, at New Life SDA Church, Strathclyde Drive, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 pm. The cortege will proceed to the Military Cemetery, Gravesend, Aquatic Gap St. Michael for the interment.
The body will repose in The Michael Bryan Memorial Chapel Belmont Road St. Michael on Sunday August 17th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and at the church on Monday, 12:45 pm, from which time floral tributes will be appreciated.
