Former Cadet Under Officer (CUO) of No. 17 of the Cadet Corps. Past Student of the Alleyne School, the Grantley Adams Memorial School, and the Barbados Community College.
Sweet and Precious Daughter of Joel Ellis of Turtle Beach Resort.
Granddaughter of the late Undine Ellis.
Adopted Daughter of Captain Natalie Haynes, Captain Marcella Gibson, David and Nathania Eversley.
Sister of Jade King.
Niece of Onita Rouse, Irma Bruce, Verona, Veronica and Joycelyn Michael, Veronica Williams (USA).

The funeral service celebrating the life of the late Joyy Cha-Diamond Ellis takes place on Monday May 19, 2025 at the Berean Bible Church, Hothersal Turning #1 Lower Estate, St. Michael where Relatives and Friends are asked to meet at 10:00 am, followed by a private cremation.
The body will repose at the church from 8:45am. Tributes commence at 9:30am.
A collection will be taken towards the Myeloma, Lymphoma & Leukaemia Foundation of Barbados.
