“Worrell” or “Wow”

aged 75 years, Affectionately known as “Worrell” or “Wow” Late of Baywoods, St James, Gilkes Village, St. James, and Mount All, St. Andrew; entered into rest on Tuesday December 12, 2023. Former employee St. Lucy Secondary School, Lyndhurst Funeral Home, Bryan Funeral Home, and the Barbados Lumber Company.

Son of the late Theophilus and Martha Alberta Worrell.

Husband of Cheryl Worrell and ex-husband of Jenyth Williams.

Father of Janice Phillip, Michael Worrell, Pamela Worrell Springer.

Stepfather of Andrew and Ricky Williams, Crystal and Kelvin Blackett, Terrika Bryan.

Grandfather of Christina Worrell-Klaiber and four others from USA.

Brother of Eudora Small, Mildred Tervil, Edgar, Clevland, Lionel, Theophilus Worrell, and the late Inez Rouse and Frederick Taylor.

Uncle of Sophia, Romell Worrell, Jerry, Orville and Victor Alleyne, Francine, Jocelyn Rouse, and many more.

Son-in-law of Vincent Springer and the late Lincoln Philip of USA.

Brother-in-law of Darnley Rouse and Junior Small, Waveney Worrell and Ianthe Taylor.

Father-in-law of Marilyn Worrell.

Relatives of the Worrell, King, Taylor and Armstrong families.

Friend of many.

A Thanksgiving service celebrating the life of Laurence Oscar Worrell will take place on Saturday January 6, 2024 at Rose of Sharon Tabernacle Assembly, Hillaby, St. Andrew where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 am for the service. The cortege will proceed to St. James Cemetery for the interment.

The body will repose in The Michael Bryan Memorial Chapel Belmont Road St. Michael on Friday January 5th from 4 00 pm to 6 00 pm. and at the church on Saturday, 8:45am from which time floral tributes will be appreciated.
