Aged 94, affectionately known as “Lena”, of Scotts Gap Brittons Hill, St. Michael, formerly of St. Lucia; entered into rest on Wednesday February 21, 2024. A member of the Cursillo Movement.
Wife of Alfred Haynes Squires.
Mother of Theresa Jean-Louis and the late David Jean-Louis
Grandmother of Troy and Raymond Brathwaite.
Great grandmother of five.
Aunt of Marcia Hamilton, Gregorious Jean-Louis.
Sister-in-law of Grafton Haynes.
Relative of the Squires and Haynes families.
Friend of Jennie and Trevor Constantine, Michael King, Isabel Dominique and many others.
The funeral service celebrating the life of Louisianne Squires takes place on Thursday March 7, 2024 at St. Patricks Cathedral, Jemmotts Lane St. Michael; where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00am. The body will repose at the church from 8:45am from which time floral tributes will be appreciated. The cortege will proceed to Westbury Cemetery for the interment.
