Aged 82, Better known as ‘Sugar lene, ‘Ma’ and ‘Auntie of Baywoods, St. James and formerly of Mount Hillaby St. Thomas, entered into rest on Tuesday June 4, 2024.
Daughter of the late Clarence and Cecelia Armstrong née Benskin. She was the last of seven children.
Mother of six, three of whom pre- deceased her and alive are Anthony and Lisa Armstrong and Joy Ann Armstrong-Worrel (USA).
Grandmother of Ondre Armstrong and Baggio Skeete.
Great-grandmother of one.
Mother-in-law of the late Simon Worrell.
Aunt of Jimmy Edwards, Mavis Armstrong, Eudora Worrell-Small (USA), Betty Armstrong-Rock, Joslyn Browne, Hazel, Monica, Sheila and Michael Armstrong, Leroy and Althea Woodroffe, Diana Woodroffe-Hinds Shernelle Blackett, Leo Bishop, Keith Griffith, Carmen Lowe, Lucille, Cynthia & Carson Maynard, Noreen Quintyne, Heather Cox, Andrew Armstrong, Carolyn Spooner, Brenda Elcock, Bertram Forte and many more.

The funeral service, celebrating the life of the late Lucille Monica Armstrong takes place on Saturday July 13, 2024 at Bethel New Covenant Pentecostal Assembly, Endeavour, St. James, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 pm. The cortege will proceed to the St. lames cemetery for the interment. Tributes commence at 1:30pm. The body will repose in the Michael Bryan Memorial Chapel Belmont Road St. Michael on Friday July 12th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. and at the church on Saturday July 13th at 12:45 pm from which time floral tributes will be appreciated.
